About Tree Loving Care

Tuttle Landscape Company began in 1978 as a full care landscape maintenance and installation business. In 1983, James sold the maintenance division to concentrate on tree care. In 1997, the name was changed to TREE LOVING CARE to reflect our attitude and focus.

TREE LOVING CARE is a full service arboriculture company loving all of West Texas' trees. "TLC" is a member of Tree Care Industry Association (formerly the National Arborists Association) and the International Society of Arboriculture. Owner, James Tuttle is also a member of the Texas and Rocky Mountain Chapters of ISA. James has been an ISA Certified Arborist since the inception of the program in Texas.

Affiliations

TREE LOVING CARE is a member of the Tree Care Industry Association. The TCIA is "Dedicated to the Advancement of the Commercial Tree Care Business."

As a member of the TCIA, TREE LOVING CARE has adopted the TCIA pledge which states "As a member of the Tree Care Industry Association, we strive to uphold the honor and dignity of our profession and improve the quality of life through increasing our knowledge and skills in the management of trees, shrubs, and other landscape plants entrusted in our care."

"We recognize that the air we breath, our pure drinking water, the aesthetic pleasure of landscape beauty, the sounds we hear, even all the Earth are dependant on and profoundly affected by healthy trees, shrubs, and other landscape plants."

"Further, we strive to upgrade the standards of arboriculture and encourage others to follow our principles. We will conduct ourselves in a fair and just manner in dealing with the public, our employees, and our fellow arborists. We will work constantly to increase the esteem and nurture the acceptance of arboriculture as a profession, for the betterment of out society and the world."

James Tuttle is a member of the International Society of Arboriculture and was in the first group of Certified Arborists in Texas. For the first six years of the program, he was the only Certified Arborist between the Metro-plex and Albuquerque. James is a memeber of both the Texas and Rocky Mountain Chapters of ISA and has served as President of the Texas Chapter. James Majors is a memeber of ISA and the Texas chapter and has been a Certified Arborist for 3 years. Tree Loving Care Believes that supporting our profession is just part of loving your trees.
